Fineart Imagery

I have been pursuing photography since 1990 and have seen a progression from film to medium format film, to early digital, to everything digital.

In 2005 I bought my first digital camera, a Canon 1DS Mark II with what at that time was a crazy 17MP imaging sensor and started down the path of large format panorama stitching for my landscape works.  My first digital stitched image was of Mount Yamnuska and it took me nearly 80 hours on a Pentium 4 to stitch each time (painful); by comparison, my modern Threadripper does the same in mere minutes.

Despite the computing challenges during that era, I was hooked on large format images and started down the path of large fine art prints, with some of my photographs reaching 4 feet by 11 feet in size at over 500dpi of output resolution.

Please look at the Large Format gallery, as it contains 200 megapixels or larger images, with many in the giga-pixel range.

Are you looking to purchase fine art prints from Rob Dabisza Photography?

As of December 2022, my online store (both on this website and via Etsy) is undergoing a complete rework, and thus online purchasing is unavailable.  The newly rebranded online store’s ETA is March 2023.

If you are interested in purchasing a print or have inquiries into licensing my work, please check out the print/usage rights page for more information or contact me via one of the many options.
