Looking west from the top of Goat’s Eye mountain at Sunshine Village on a particularly sunny clear and beautiful day.
One good days such as this one you can see for literally 10’s of kilometres from the top of this mountain; setting the stage for a fantastic panoramic view.
This is a much wider panorama than I would normally shoot but in full size print it works. I chose a overtly strong/contrast in post editing to convey the sharpness of the Rockies below. As usual most web browsers and LCD monitors will not convey the detail in this image rather leaning towards a very harsh image; the full size print contains considerably more detail than this “thumbnail” can provide.
